30 Days to Better Grades: Day 12 – Memory Games

Better Grades - Memory Games

Make homework dynamic. By adding memory-building games to study sessions, you can help boost brain power. Hasbro’s Memory game is great for younger kids, but older children might gravitate toward Sudoku, word searches, crosswords, or logic puzzles. These puzzles are sold in newspapers, grocery stores, and in the “puzzle” section of your local bookstore. You can even find and print many of these puzzles online. Include one during each study session, but don’t market it as a brain booster. Make your kid feel like it’s a special treat or break from the grind of homework.

Today’s Task

Add a memory game or puzzle during each study session to help increase memory and improve brain elasticity.
