The holidays can be hectic, but they also present a multitude of opportunities for fun family togetherness. Check out some of these low or no cost ideas to make the holidays meaningful for you and your family:

  • Tour the neighborhood to take in the Christmas lights
  • Go ice-skating
  • Take your kids to a coffee house for a hot chocolate treat
  • Make fleece tie blankets for a local unit of Project Linus
  • Feed the birds
  • Go sledding
  • Donate goods to a homeless shelter or a shelter for victims of domestic violence
