Whole Foods Facial Care Saleadvertorial

Choosing the right facial care products can be a challenge for the entire family. You want only the safest products for your child and the most effective products for yourself. We are bombarded with marketing messages about products that are natural or organic, but are those titles always what they seem?

With the variety of cleansers, eye creams, toners, moisturizers, scrubs, masks, and serums in the average skin care regimen, it’s great to find a one-stop shop to purchase safe and natural products that are actually examined and determined to be safe and natural!

At Whole Foods, the spotlight is on quality standards. Their Premium Body Care products include only those where each ingredient has been evaluated in four areas:

  • Results
  • Source
  • Environmental impact
  • Safety

Having interned (long ago!) in the quality laboratory of a major personal care products company, reading about the additional standards Whole Foods demands before adding a premium designation to their products was fascinating.

The ingredients in these products are determined to be natural, effective, and safe for both the environment and personal use. Each product that meets quality standards is designated by the Premium Body Care symbol on store shelves. To read more about the process, visit Whole Foods’ website.

When it comes to using something on my skin or that of my family, I feel more comfortable with something I know has been evaluated by a third party. And if it is a product that’s not safe for the environment, it doesn’t belong on my face or those of my children!

Whole Foods Facial Care SaleThree facial care products to try:

Avalon Organics Everyday Renewal Hydrating Facial Cleanser – Wash away dirt and makeup while moisturizing with Omega 3, 6 and 9 oils. This is a mild cleanser and fragrance free – great for kids and teens!

Pangea Organics Japanese Matcha Tea with Acai & Goji Berry Facial Mask – I enjoy the health benefits of drinking tea, so this product caught my eye. This mask is rich and earthy, with an herbal, minty scent. It leaves your face fresh and awake. This could come in handy when mama needs a spa day hour!

Dr. Hauschka Moisturizing Day Cream – This moisturizer is great for normal to dry skin and has a mild citrus scent. It soaks in quickly and keeps skin energized and glowing all day. Great for moms, dads, teens, and possibly the whole family to use daily.

Skin care products at Whole Foods Market are available for all ages and skin types. You can also follow Whole Foods on Facebook and Twitter for more info and updates. If you’re in the Huntington Beach area, check out the local Facebook page. All cleansers, eye creams, toners, moisturizers, scrubs, masks, and serums in the store are 25% off during the sale taking place February 7-9. Yes, this includes ALL facial care products in the store!

The 3 Day Facial Care Sale takes place only once a year so find a store near you and plan to make Whole Foods your shopping destination this weekend!

Fine print & Disclosure: This sale is available in SoCal, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii. Lip balm and makeup products are not included. This is a sponsored post for Whole Foods Market. All opinions are my own.

Wow! This is some great information. I’ve dealt with bad skin for majority of my life. I’m definitely going to look into some of these organic and natural products to see if any will work for me.

  • What about cosmetic testing on animals? You don’t mention that. I do hope that they are aware of the atrocities some cosmetic companies inflict on innocent creatures. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts on that. Otherwise, they sound great. Healthy, organic and good for the environment. Thanks for your review. 😉

Carissa, this is definitely a company that carries good-for-you self-care in addition to great food!

  • I love whole foods. I am very particular about using natural, organics or fresh products. If I can’t find what I need I take time to make my own.

We shop at Whole Foods regularly, you are right, it can be very challenging to shop for skin care products for each of the family members. I haven’t checked out any of the products you mentioned, I need to look at them the next time I’m there.
