My parents were self-employed when I was growing up, and that played a large part in inspiring me to do the same as an adult. My advice would be to persist and know that you’ll need to knock on every door until one opens. Never stop looking for new opportunities or angles you hadn’t thought of, and keep refining your game plan until it sticks.

My friends & I had a snow cone stand when we were kids- we planned it for weeks but it was over 100 degrees out so we only lasted a day. It was fun though!
